Ragui Assaad is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the American University in Cairo and Professor at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. His research focuses on topics related to labor markets in the Arab World, education and human resource development, youth transitions to adulthood and inequality of opportunity. He received his PhD. in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University. He is an ERF Research Fellow and thematic leader for labor and human development.
